Building Workroom Asia™, a budget-friendly social media marketing and VA system.
Nyrriel founded Workroom Asia™ in 2024 to give founders and CEOs affordable social media marketing and staffing support without the cost of a full internal team. About 80% of the workflow ran on its own — from content ideation down to sourcing the right VA — with a person orchestrating the rest; a larger budget can push that automation further. She still runs it today, alongside her AI systems consulting work.

The systems, end to end.

Growth & acquisition
Finding and reaching clients automatically
Lead generation runs on its own, feeding a marketing automation system that keeps social channels posting on a schedule. The same funnel logic was packaged as a service — a client social funnel that carries their audience from a post down to an acquisition step, without someone manually running it every day.
Conversion
From first reply to booked call to paid
An automated follow-up sequence keeps a lead warm without manual chasing, hands off to a discovery-and-booking flow that puts a meeting on the calendar, and closes with an automated payment step — so the path from "interested" to "client" doesn't depend on someone remembering to send the next message.
Staffing & delivery
Hiring and onboarding at the pace the work needs
Interviewing candidates for day-to-day virtual assistant roles is automated at the first pass, so staffing and onboarding move faster once someone is a real fit — and delivery teams pick up work with a repeatable handover instead of a fresh explanation every time.
Digital presence
The website, SEO, and content running themselves
The company's own website and backend were built and maintained the same way client systems are — with SEO built in from the start, and blog and video content produced through an automated pipeline rather than a person starting from a blank page each week.
Beyond the automation
Business and systems judgment, not just tooling
Running Workroom Asia day to day meant deciding what the business actually was and why things kept breaking — not only building the automation on top of it.
Go-to-market
One clear offer, one deliberate niche
Two overlapping pitches — done-for-you social media management and broader VA/growth-ops support — were reconciled into a single go-to-market: social media management as the primary offer with tiered pricing, and VA/growth-ops repositioned as a warm upsell for existing clients instead of a second offer competing for the same cold lead. Alongside it, cafes, restaurants, and small local businesses were chosen as a deliberate beachhead over a wide mix of client types, for their shorter sales cycles, denser referral networks, and lower churn — paired with a plan for building remote credibility on price, time-zone-driven speed, and output volume while serving Western-market clients from Asia.
Technical reliability
Fixing bugs at the root, not the symptom
The internal content-automation platform — built on the Claude API, GitHub, and Vercel — had a bug log where "fixed" issues kept resurfacing. Triaging it exposed the real pattern behind the recurrences: data pulled from multiple sources instead of one source of truth, records matched by date or text instead of stable IDs, generation failures inside serverless edge functions, and a habit of patching symptoms instead of fixing structure. Sorting root causes into those categories let each one get resolved once, at the source.
Outreach consistency
Closing the gaps between docs and reality
An audit of outreach templates and SOP documents turned up missing pricing for add-ons, reply flows that contradicted each other across separate documents, and no documented handoff between AI-drafted outreach and VA review. Those gaps were resolved into one consistent, platform-labeled template and reply-flow set instead of several documents quietly disagreeing with each other.
The website itself
The Workroom Asia site is a live example of what gets built, not just a portfolio photo of it.
The same client-facing site the business ran on was designed, animated, and shipped in-house — the interactions, motion, and front-end are part of the same production standard as the automation behind it.
Founder's note
“Building Workroom Asia taught me that tools alone do not create reliable delivery. A business needs clear ownership, documented processes, quality controls, strong communication, and systems that people can actually operate. Those lessons now guide every AI workflow and internal system I design.”
